On April 17, 2025, The North Face issued a recall of approximately 15,200 pairs of Women’s Shellista V Mid Waterproof Boots due to a fall hazard. The recall was prompted by reports that the top hook of one boot can catch on the lace of the opposite boot, causing the wearer to trip and fall.

  • The style number can be found on the label sewn onto the tongue of the boot

The boots were manufactured in Vietnam and imported by The North Face, a division of VF Outdoor LLC, based in Denver, Colorado. They were sold from September 2024 through January 2025 for approximately $165
